Abstract
Robots are increasingly finding their way into pharmaceutical production. In this article, robots are used in aseptic environments, in isolators for product safety and for operator safety. Today robots can be found in almost all production areas – from the production of basic materials to the final production of a drug, and they have different tasks – as is shown in the following sections.
