First experiments reveal the excellent shape and particle size distribution of the granules. Tabletting investigations show that under all conditions tablets of sufficient tensile strength can be produced, which are comparable to those granulated in a batch high-shear mixer. The system fulfils high-containment requirements and can be equipped with WIP/CIP components and sensors for particle size and water content.
