Abstract
Continuous granulation and drying are main focuses of current R&D as well as manufacturing departments of many companies. The underlying study promotes an in-depth understanding of the influences of various critical process parameters on critical quality attributes of wet and dry granules, produced via continuous twin-screw granulation and fluid-bed drying. Results from statistically evaluated experimental plans and long-time continuous granulation trials give new insights into the efficacy and safety of an innovative continuous drying technology.

Dr. Robin Meier Dr. Robin Meier ist Apotheker mit Promotion in Pharmazeutischer Technologie und Biopharmazie. Während der Promotion beschäftigte er sich bereits über 3,5 Jahre mit kontinuierlicher Granulation. Seit Mitte 2016 ist er Wissenschaftlicher Leiter bei L.B.
