Ein neuartiges System für die kontinuierliche FeuchtgranulierungRudolf Schroeder und Klaus-Jürgen Steffens Pharmazeutisches Institut, Pharmazeutische Technologie, an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität, Bonn A new system for continuous wet granulation Modern actives often show hydrophobic properties with a reduced tabletability. In such cases wet granulation is the most promising production step. Aqueous wet granulation however may be difficult, due to the poor wetability of the actives. Normally intensive mixers are used for those granulations, principally producing granules with a relative low porosity. Altogether, those formulations mostly exhibit poor tableting properties, resulting in e reduced tablet crushing strength and prolonged tablet disintegration.
