Generational Transition at Steriline

Steriline, a company specializing in aseptic packaging for injectables and ophthalmic products, has announced in Sept 2024 a leadership transition from founder Gerardo Fumagalli to his children, Ilaria and Federico Fumagalli. Ilaria assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer, while Federico becomes Chief Sales Officer. Gerardo will remain as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Since its founding in 1989, Steriline has grown to 235 employees and has expanded over the past decade, including international branches and operational changes, all guided by the Fumagalli family.
Ilaria, who joined Steriline in 1997 after earning a Master’s degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies, expressed gratitude for the Board's trust and emphasized her commitment to innovation while honoring the company's traditions. Federico, who joined in 2001, aims to enhance Steriline's market presence through internationalization and innovation.
