Ontario Provides Access to Biktarvy for the Treatment of HIV
06.08.2019Gilead Sciences Canada, Inc. (Gilead Canada) today announced that effective July 31, the Ontario Drug Benefit Program will provide eligible patients with access to Biktarvy® (bictegravir 50 mg/emtricitabine 200 mg/tenofovir alafenamide 25 mg) tablets, a once-daily single tablet and complete regimen for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults. EIPL fordert: Gleiche Bedingungen für Botendienste, Pharmagroßhandel und Online-Apotheken
05.08.2019Das Bundeskabinett hat am 17. Juli 2019 den Gesetzentwurf von Bundesgesundheitsminister Jens Spahn zur Stärkung der Vor-Ort-Apotheken beschlossen. Künftig sollen stationäre Apotheken Arzneimittel im Botendienst auf Kundenwunsch grundsätzlich ausliefern dürfen und nicht mehr nur im Einzelfall. Dabei muss die Apotheke dafür Sorge tragen, dass die geltenden Temperaturbedingungen eingehalten werden. Neben der geplanten Angleichung des Preisniveaus ist dies aus Sicht des European Institute for Pharma Logistics GmbH (EIPL) ein deutlicher Kompetenzgewinn für die Vor-Ort-Apotheken. (...)

Ethisch werde mit den Plänen der Forschenden in Japan keine rote Linie überschritten, sagte die Medizinethikerin Christiane Woopen von der Uniklinik Köln im Deutschlandfunk. Forscher der Universität Tokio hatten eine Genehmigung zur Zucht von menschlichen Organen in Tieren erhalten. Das zuständige Gremium des Wissenschaftsministeriums hatte den Beginn der Forschung mit menschlichen Stammzellen abgesegnet, die in Tierembryonen eingepflanzt und von den Tieren ausgetragen werden sollen, wie eine Ministeriumssprecherin am Vortag der dpa bestätigte.
